About
I make complex platform systems easier to understand, operate, and trust.
I'm Matthew Storm, a Senior Product Designer at Attentive. My strongest work sits at the intersection of platform systems, technical workflows, and business impact: integrations, data ingestion, developer tools, enterprise content governance, internal tooling, and observability-adjacent product experiences.
I've built a reputation as a high-trust, low-drama designer who can move ambiguous work forward across product, engineering, and leadership. Formal feedback has described me as a “Swiss Army Knife” for the team, which I read less as a brand and more as evidence of adaptability: I can move between strategy, systems, execution, prototyping, and storytelling when the work needs it.
My current platform work includes building the foundation for Attentive's integration platform, designing EDS data ingestion workflows, exploring self-service developer tooling for partner-built apps, shaping Integration Data Health, and designing enterprise governance workflows for large franchise networks.
Earlier in my career, I worked across multidisciplinary design, front-end implementation, analytics, advertising, and client-facing strategy. That foundation led into product design consultancy at Definery, shortly before the design team transitioned into Attentive's in-house Product Design organization.
The through-line is practical systems thinking. I like work where the value is not just visual polish, but helping people understand status, dependencies, configuration, failure paths, recovery, and consequences inside complex software.
